FRC Team 70

The Mission of the Goodrich High School More Martians is to learn, have fun, and make a positive impact on the future through our participation in ﷯. Our Rookie Season was 1998. At that time, we were known as the “Auto City Bandits”. We built our robot at the Technology Center at Genesee Area Skill Center in Flint, Michigan. In the year 2005, our team was unfortunately about to fold; 5 out of 6 team members were graduating and our only mentor was retiring. We were sponsored by Kettering University. Since FRC Team 494 worked closely with Kettering University via the FIRST program, it was decided that we would join them at Goodrich High School. Team 494 had just won the 2004 World Championship and had many students who wanted to join robotics, so it seemed like a good fit. Therefore, in 2006 we became part of the Goodrich Robotics family. For these last 10 years, we have built our robots together with Team 494, and because of this, we call ourselves the “FRC Robot Twins”. We do compete separately in FIRST Events, and we are "in it, to win it". Coopertition is something we have learned and practiced daily though these past 10 years while we work closely with Team 494 members. We are proud to be known as ... MORE Martians "Two heads are better than one!"

We wish to extend a special thank you to our Team Sponsors!
